Raptors home woes continue, fall to Bobcats

TORONTO, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) — The Toronto Raptors lost their fourth straight home game in a 91-98 loss over the last-placed Charlotte Bobcats in NBA action on Friday night.

The loss marked the sixth game in a franchise-tying seven-game homestand for the Raptors where the team has managed one win to date. The team has won four of their 15 home games at the Air Canada Centre this year and nine of 23 on the season overall.

“We came out flat and I don’t look at Charlotte’s record, we have no right to do that. We didn’t come out and play with the same sense of urgency that we have in the past few games,” said Raptors coach Casey during the post-game press conference.

For the 4-26 Bobcats, the victory snapped their franchise high 16-game losing streak, the longest losing streak in the NBA this season. The win also extends a five-game winning streak against the Raptors which dates back to the last season where they swept the season series by winning all four games.
